Ultra-compact infrared camera for the short-wave range for non-contact temperature measurement of metal surfaces.
The IR camera optris® PI 1M is particularly suitable for temperature measurements on metals, as they exhibit a significantly higher emissivity (emissivity) at the short measuring wavelength of 1 μm than with measurements in the usual wavelength range of 8-14 μm. Parallel to the visualization of a thermal process, the powerful sensor electronics allow a short response time of 1ms for the output of the temperature information of the center pixel.

The optris PI 160 infrared camera is the entry-level model of the award-winning optris PI series *. The infrared cameras optris PI 400 / PI 450 are the smallest thermal imaging cameras in their class.
